I definitely bring way more than is necessary. I just went on a 2 week European cruise and wouldn't you know it, my pump failed the 2nd day of the trip. My fears came true. Luckily I had brought a pack of syringes and some Lantus....but it made the trip really difficult. As you say, long days, sunshine, don't know what you'll be eating...add that to foreign countries with no public bathrooms. Anyway, it was a challenge.

I can only wonder what the folks at Customs will think when I walk in with a Pharmacy in a bag!

I guess I always think more is better. I couldn't imagine trying to get along if I ran out of quicksets or the like because they kept coming off in the pool or sweating or one hundred other reasons. Better safe than sorry I guess.....

Whenever I take a long trip I do three times what I need. I know it is excessive but it helps me to sleep at night.

I went on my first cruise in February -- and my biggest problem, was that I kept going low!

However, this was a working cruise, and I spent a lot of time walking from my room to the presentations.

It was a lot more walking than I was used to, and especially late in the evening.
